One of the standard templates, which we
refer to as a Family, is called PO Lines to WO Shortages.
Work order shortages are one of the top priorities for manufacturing
companies and are constantly being managed. One of the big
challenges is visibility to shortages and managing parts that
fulfill the shortage after they arrive. This Family is designed
to assist Receiving, Incoming Inspection, and Production Control
personnel that when parts arrive on a Purchase Order they
are able to determine what Work Order Shortages exist for
those parts. This can help establish a priority for parts
to move quickly through the receiving and inspection processes
in order to make the parts available to the Production floor
as quickly as possible.
