Relevant’s ERP Features Best Fixed Asset Accounting Interface
New Depreciation Journal Entries Now Compatible with Best Software’s FAS

San Ramon, CA – March 19, 2001 With the Relevant Business Systems Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software suite, users can now import new depreciation journal entries into the Relevant General Ledger from external ASCII files created with FAS Asset Accounting. Users can adjust and post entries to appear in the General Journal screens and edit lists, as well as financial statements.

“FAS from Best Software has been the industry standard in fixed asset accounting for over 15 years,” reports Relevant Business Systems' President and CEO, Patrick Garrehy. “You simply upload the ASCII file created by FAS Asset Accounting and our Fixed Asset Import Interface does the rest. The new depreciation journal entries are the same as the data entered directly into the General Ledger, from within Relevant.”

The Fixed Asset Import Interface is standard with Relevant and is extremely easy to use. FAS Asset Accounting performs complex depreciation calculations quickly and easily with an easy-to-use Windows interface.
