With the wInsight and C/S Glue® export programs
in the Relevant Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) module, users
can export Earned Value data directly into C/S Solutions’
wInsight to create reports, charts and graphical analyses
of WBS and Earned Value data. Government contractors working
to meet DoD, DOE, FAA or DCMC requirements often use wInsight
to create clearer, more easily understood reports. It is the
standard for Earned Value reporting.
"For government contractors especially,
this export program is invaluable,” explains Patrick
Garrehy, Relevant Business Systems' President and CEO. “After
importing the data into the wInsight Administrator, contractors
can view monthly costs in spreadsheet format and/or CPR or
C/SSR reports. The program adds five government-required overhead
accounts to the Contract, which can be maintained in the Administrator.
Contractors can also change values in the Administrator for
‘what-if’ analyses without impacting their Earned
Value data in Relevant."
The wInsight program can then be used to
display graphical analyses of all levels of the WBS. Users
can select graphical displays of Cost Variances, Schedule
Variances, Estimate at Completion, breakdown trees and many
more. These are useful for identifying trouble spots or for
doing “what-if” analyses. Four different views
can be displayed at the same time in wInsight’s Multi-Pane
window. When highlighting an account in the breakdown structure,
the charts in the other panes change to match that account.
With C/S Glue, scheduling software can
be put into one of wInsight’s panes to see how changes
in timeline will impact project costs and Earned Value projections.
C/S Glue integrates the performance measurement data imported
from Relevant and analyzed in wInsight, with true schedule
status. C/S Glue is available for MS Project, SureTrak, Open
Plan Professional, Scitor PS7 and Primavera P3. The wInsight
and C/S Glue export programs are available now.
