Relevant Business Systems' web site now distributes updated
or new, individual Relevant programs or modules, updates to
the Relevant database, and information on service requests.
The web-based service is available to all licensed Relevant
users, worldwide.
"Using the internet for program distribution
allows us to keep our Relevant users up-to-date,” explains
Pat Garrehy, President and CEO of Relevant Business Systems.
“With this option, they don’t have to wait for
periodic software updates.
Licensed users can see which programs and
modules have been updated and select the ones they want for
download. All unselected programs remain available for download
at a later date. Under the database update option, users can
identify which databases have not been completed and download
only the necessary updates. With the Service Request option,
resolution to service requests is available.
Downloadable programs or database updates
are sent by FTP or as attachments to an email message. Distributed
on a T1 line, the downloads are only subject to the speed
of the connection from the computer accessing the programs.
The programs and updates are available for download now.
